Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Chimborazo defense, Fernanco Crespin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Unai Castañera. The Chimborazo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Unai Castañera should have stopped the shot. Orixe Somoza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Unai Castañera. Chimborazo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cortez Salgueiro in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Unai Castañera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Caunedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guipuzkoa Pradias, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Guipuzkoa Pradias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unai Castañera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Fernanco Crespin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernanco Crespin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Naranjal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chimborazo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
