Dagoberto Tarrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolfo Alicea in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacintu Cotan in the 29th minute of play forced Grimaldi's goalkeeper Montel Combarros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Tarrero was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Emiliano Burualla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 44th match minute, Antuni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Villegas to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Antuni FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Tarrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolfo Alicea.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xacintu Cotan to make the kick off. Antuni FC's Dagoberto Tarrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolfo Alicea in the 55th minute of play. Eate Villarroel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Montel Combarros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacintu Cotan in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Emiliano Burualla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Tarrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grimaldi's Montel Combarros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Grimaldi from getting a goal against them. Rudolfo Alicea might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Tarrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolfo Alicea ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Burualla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Tarrero was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Quintairos got free with Montel Combarros in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 played minutes Antuni FC got a freekick which was hit by Xacintu Cotan. After a rather tough play, Antuni FC's Xzaver Orihuela got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Intxixu Zuriarrain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Tarrero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Emiliano Burualla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Burualla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rudolfo Alicea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Tarrero was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Antuni FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
