Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chapepe FC's Txordon Zucunza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Txordon Zucunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aires Lapenya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Ted Saer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Quintan Maneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Romelio Trasgallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canafistolar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chapepe FC the free kick. Romelio Trasgallo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Regis Maysonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Ted Saer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canafistolar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chapepe FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Ted Saer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Regis Maysonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Regis Maysonet got free with Fernandez Veleña in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernandez Veleña made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Regis Maysonet sent off a good shot on target. Dantel Cedron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandez Veleña having to make a save. In the 35th minute Txordon Zucunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aires Lapenya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Regis Maysonet from a close distance when the talented Fernandez Veleña managed to make a qualified save. Chapepe FC's players were relieved. Txordon Zucunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aires Lapenya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txordon Zucunza in the 44th minute of play forced Canafistolar's goalkeeper Aires Lapenya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Duarte Naveros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Canafistolar's Berenguer Tu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dantel Cedron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Txordon Zucunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aires Lapenya having to interfere. Fernandez Veleña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Maysonet in the 56th minute of the match. Fernandez Veleña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dantel Cedron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Duarte Naveros from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Aires Lapenya's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 70th minute, Romelio Trasgallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Txordon Zucunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quintan Maneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aires Lapenya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txordon Zucunza in the 79th minute of the match. Aires Lapenya made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Quintan Maneiro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Chapepe FC defense, Dantel Cedron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandez Veleña. The Chapepe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandez Veleña should have stopped the shot.
