Desiderio Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Baraquiel Abaurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Garaile Parte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Ochandio having to interfere. Merecito FC's Desiderio Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Simon might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batista Ochandio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Simon ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 44 minutes, Baraquiel Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paracaje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baraquiel Abaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Chus Monteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nalo Garavito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baraquiel Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nalo Garavito having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chus Monteros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Batista Ochandio came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Merecito FC's Garaile Parte. But to his dismay, Garaile Parte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Batista Ochandio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Merecito FC's Garaile Parte got a free kick in the 70th minute. Baraquiel Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baraquiel Abaurre got free with Nalo Garavito in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baraquiel Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merecito FC's Nalo Garavito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Merecito FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Paracaje FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Baltasar Cubria hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Paracaje FC's Chus Monteros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Desiderio Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Paracaje FC defense, Desiderio Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batista Ochandio. The Paracaje FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batista Ochandio should have stopped the shot.
