When Senin Huguet came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Casapilatos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Senin Huguet couldn't finish the play. Bartoleme Bidania fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattin Hermida having to interfere. Carrizales's Manny Platas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariando Collante in the 13th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Senin Huguet made a precise shot to the right of Manny Platas. Carrizales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Casapilatos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartoleme Bidania to make the kick off. Manny Platas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariando Collante's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Carrizales's Fernado Feijoo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattin Hermida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartoleme Bidania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Casapilatos's Mingo Ventura got a free kick in the 59th minute. Manny Platas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariando Collante in the 64th minute of play. Mattin Hermida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartoleme Bidania in the 79th minute of the match. Cordarrel Adrada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mattin Hermida. Casapilatos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casapilatos reached it. After 90 played minutes Carrizales got a freekick which was hit by Petrigai Pumares. If Ariando Collante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute of the match, Ariando Collante tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manny Platas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 94 minutes of play, Casapilatos's Senin Huguet made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manny Platas was left in no man's land by his defense there!
