Opilano Turrilla struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ponce Ameyugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curariguita FC. Maurilio Nevares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Curariguita FC's Gutierre Erce got control of the ball when Lesardo Goxenola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurilio Nevares struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ponce Ameyugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Opilano Turrilla in the 13th minute of play. Ponce Ameyugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurilio Nevares in the 16th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Amancio Laincera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Opilano Turrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Amancio Laincera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curariguita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Filancones the free kick. Amancio Laincera hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After 54 minutes of play, Filancones's Lesardo Goxenola made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gutierre Erce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lugo Incera charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lugo Incera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Filancones got a freekick which was hit by Lugo Incera. Sal Tarulla's shot from long distance in the 63rd minute was not bad at all, but Filancones's Ponce Ameyugo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 66th minute Opilano Turrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponce Ameyugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurilio Nevares in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ponce Ameyugo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gutierre Erce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Funes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Maurilio Nevares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curariguita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurilio Nevares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Opilano Turrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Lesardo Goxenola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gutierre Erce. Curariguita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lesardo Goxenola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gutierre Erce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lesardo Goxenola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lugo Incera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gutierre Erce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filancones's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
