Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jax Loredo started the match with the kick off. Jax Loredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Desiderio Amundarain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Amundarain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jax Loredo in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firme Valdeon in the 11th minute of play forced Retorbo FC's goalkeeper Reimundo Arganzua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Firme Valdeon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araguatos's supporters rose to their feet, but Firme Valdeon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reimundo Arganzua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Retorbo FC's Esdras Castroviejo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Bingen Jaquinot kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Firme Valdeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Ignazio Tixido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Gurruchaga during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Firme Valdeon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Araguatos's Feliciano Abel in 35 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Reimundo Arganzua guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 43 minutes, Cloyo Lupidana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araguatos and the Retorbo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Araguatos getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cloyo Lupidana hit a great ball. Jax Loredo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Desiderio Amundarain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retorbo FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
52 minutes into the match, Retorbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Abel came free, but Reimundo Arganzua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Bingen Jaquinot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Retorbo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araguatos the free kick. Bingen Jaquinot kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jax Loredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Amundarain having to interfere. Tebaldo Moretas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Desiderio Amundarain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th minute of the match, Jax Loredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Desiderio Amundarain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Retorbo FC's Reimundo Arganzua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firme Valdeon in the 71st minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Firme Valdeon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retorbo FC's Reimundo Arganzua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Firme Valdeon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimundo Arganzua having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Firme Valdeon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reimundo Arganzua was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Abel in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reimundo Arganzua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feliciano Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tebaldo Moreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Araguatos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Retorbo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Retorbo FC.
