Xicu Riopedre in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrique Andrino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Henrique Andrino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sesuldo Ameztoy in the 9th minute of the match. With his leg Henrique Andrino managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Naranjito's Xicu Riopedre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sesuldo Ameztoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Andrino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sesuldo Ameztoy in the 14th minute of the match. Gaston Zarate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Botada FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Santana Hinojosa hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Gaston Zarate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Naranjito's Zeledon Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Zarate in the 39th minute of play. Jabier Lunar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zeledon Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jabier Lunar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Matos having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sesuldo Ameztoy to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Botada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ihazintu Caliz to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Xicu Riopedre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Henrique Andrino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ceferino Zugarrondo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Zeledon Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Zarate's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Jabier Lunar came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Botada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jabier Lunar couldn't finish the play. Gaston Zarate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Matos having to interfere. Naranjito's Zeledon Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Naranjito from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Naranjito getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sotero Lahoz hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Naranjito's goalkeeper Zeledon Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jabier Lunar. Xicu Riopedre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Andrino having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Botada FC were awarded a corner. Zayvion Lasalde went to the cornerflag to take it. Xicu Riopedre scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Andrino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Naranjito had won after a very even match.
