Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaston Zarate got the match started through his kick off. When Patillita's Rio Pardo in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botada FC's goalie prevented a goal. Patillita's Cordario Castelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jabier Lunar in the 20th minute of play. Cordario Castelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Zarate, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Botada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santana Hinojosa to maneuver through the defense. If Jabier Lunar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patillita's Bonadona Azcoitia pulled a muscle in his leg after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Gaston Zarate fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botada FC's protests and gave Gaston Zarate a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Botada FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaston Zarate hit a great ball. When Dimo Peñalba came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Patillita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimo Peñalba couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes Patillita got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Rivet. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimo Peñalba to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Patillita were awarded a corner. Theobald Rocha went to the cornerflag to take it. Patillita's Theobald Rocha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrique Andrino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 54th match minute, Botada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igon Cancela to maneuver through the defense. Cordario Castelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Zarate in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Gaston Zarate fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Patillita's zone, Jabier Lunar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordario Castelo came out of the goal and Jabier Lunar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jabier Lunar came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cordario Castelo could save by the left post. Gaston Zarate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cordario Castelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordario Castelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Zarate, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jabier Lunar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordario Castelo having to interfere. If Jabier Lunar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jabier Lunar got free with Cordario Castelo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
