Donatello Tome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Farran in the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Icaparu's zone, Narciso Madinabeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Zugarrondo came out of the goal and Narciso Madinabeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Narciso Madinabeitia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Zilar Arrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donatello Tome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zilar Arrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zilar Arrate scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donatello Tome, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Etxeberri Malpica kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Jorge Farran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donatello Tome. Puedpa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Farran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 46thth minute of the game Jorge Farran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puedpa's Donatello Tome was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Farran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Donatello Tome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Farran to make the kick off. In the 81st minute, Vinicio Larrieta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puedpa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Louis Mellado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Zugarrondo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zilar Arrate got free with Donatello Tome in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batista Zugarrondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Mellado went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over Icaparu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Puedpa throughout the match.
