Ysidro Moral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramond Iruegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenec Nuevo in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Domenec Nuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenec Nuevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Domenec Nuevo sped through Casitas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramond Iruegas. 35 minutes into the game, Domenec Nuevo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ramond Iruegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Domenec Nuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ysidro Moral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee gave Casitas a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. Merey FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Pepillo Barrial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Herrera having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Joaquim Labandera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes, Casitas's Paulo Azua shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remigio Herrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casitas reached it. A collision led to Casitas getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Andre Barreneche hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Domenec Nuevo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ramond Iruegas, passed just outside the right post. Domenec Nuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ramond Iruegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ysidro Moral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenec Nuevo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 99th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Merey FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Casitas.
