In the 42nd minute, Jajenal FC's Atarrabi Argandoña ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lugo Barrallo. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atarrabi Argandoña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jajenal FC booed when Guanapito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lopes Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Atarrabi Argandoña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lugo Barrallo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Lopes Espiga fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanapito FC's protests and gave Lopes Espiga a yellow card for diving instead.
