In the 6th minute, Teofilio Naveda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guilabertus Munguira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Jibaja having to interfere. Zulia United FC's Gombal Yebra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lucindo. Uriel Jibaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Min Lubiano in the 31st minute of the match. Uriel Jibaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Min Lubiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Vergara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Caceres in the 37th minute of the match. Guilabertus Munguira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Jibaja having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Chico Caceres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucindo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Edilberto Esparza's late challenge caught a Lucindo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edilberto Esparza helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Vergara didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Camilo Vergara made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Teofilio Naveda sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Chico Caceres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Vergara. The goal made the score 0-3. 66 minutes into the match, Zulia United FC's goalkeeper Camilo Vergara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilio Naveda. Uriel Jibaja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilabertus Munguira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Min Lubiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Vergara made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Teofilio Naveda sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilio Naveda got free with Camilo Vergara in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Vergara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Caceres in the 86th minute of the match. Uriel Jibaja came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Zulia United FC's Guilabertus Munguira. But to his dismay, Guilabertus Munguira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Min Lubiano in the 98th minute of play forced Lucindo's goalkeeper Uriel Jibaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lucindo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
