Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eriberto Neira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Telo Ayllon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botijoncito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telo Ayllon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Neira in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Pintado saved Botijoncito from getting behind. Rutenio Dean might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Pintado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rutenio Dean ran back to his position shaking his head. Rutenio Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Botijoncito's Telo Ayllon got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Eriberto Neira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the game, one of Algarrobote:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Botijoncito. Manel Chanza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Froilan Calera. 0-1. When Algarrobote's Eriberto Neira in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botijoncito's goalie prevented a goal. Rutenio Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Pintado having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Algarrobote's zone, Braulio Marigorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Calera came out of the goal and Braulio Marigorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rutenio Dean got free with Rodrigo Pintado in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Algarrobote's goalkeeper Froilan Calera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Froilan Calera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Marigorta in the 40th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telo Ayllon in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Calera saved Algarrobote from getting behind. Botijoncito's Telo Ayllon got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Algarrobote defense, Telo Ayllon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Calera. The Algarrobote fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Calera should have stopped the shot. The Algarrobote players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Botijoncito were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Marigorta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Botijoncito's Froilan Calera threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Braulio Marigorta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rutenio Dean struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rodrigo Pintado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algarrobote. Bernal Andujar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Telo Ayllon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Eriberto Neira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pintado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Neira took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Pintado. Rodrigo Pintado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 72 played minutes Algarrobote got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Repiso. After a rather tough play, Botijoncito's Javiero Muriedas got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th match minute, Algarrobote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Repiso to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Marigorta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Botijoncito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Telo Ayllon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernal Andujar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Botijoncito supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Botijoncito would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
