The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Blanquillo FC's Ebardo Covarrubias got control of the ball when Paquito Hormaiztegui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierres Aliprando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enekoitz Merlo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Pierres Aliprando came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Dividivi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierres Aliprando couldn't finish the play. Ur Valbaler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dividivi FC's Rufo Carnero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Bardon in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Blanquillo FC's goalkeeper Ebardo Covarrubias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paquito Hormaiztegui. Paquito Hormaiztegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ebardo Covarrubias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Dividivi FC's Pierres Aliprando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ebardo Covarrubias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Paquito Hormaiztegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ebardo Covarrubias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufo Carnero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Bardon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Ur Valbaler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rufo Carnero was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Mannuel Pandal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Blanquillo FC's Ur Valbaler in the 56th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rufo Carnero was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Dividivi FC through an amazing save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurre Barambio during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Blanquillo FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aurre Barambio hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Dividivi FC's Ascencio Henriquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ebardo Covarrubias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dividivi FC reached it. Pierres Aliprando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ebardo Covarrubias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Chap Erauzquin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blanquillo FC and the Dividivi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Chap Erauzquin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blanquillo FC's Ebardo Covarrubias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierres Aliprando in the 68th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Blanquillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paquito Hormaiztegui came free, but Ebardo Covarrubias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Dividivi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ur Valbaler came free, but Rufo Carnero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ebardo Covarrubias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paquito Hormaiztegui went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Ur Valbaler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rufo Carnero. Ur Valbaler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Dividivi FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
