Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lalla Lezcano started the match with the kick off. Peracal's Medero Payon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalla Lezcano in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Curichicual's zone, Emilio Alba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Marto came out of the goal and Emilio Alba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zumar Alari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Marto having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Peracal's goal looked a bit too open when Lalla Lezcano came free, but Medero Payon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Abilio Cañete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curichicual's supporters rose to their feet, but Abilio Cañete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medero Payon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Medero Payon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lalla Lezcano's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Zumar Alari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Emilio Alba fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benigno Marto, passed just outside the right post. Benigno Marto made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zumar Alari sent off a good shot on target. Gartzen Franquesa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zumar Alari got free with Benigno Marto in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalla Lezcano in the 27th minute of play forced Peracal's goalkeeper Medero Payon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Danel Valgrande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curichicual's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peracal the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curichicual fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Peracal. Cresconio Pedroza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benigno Marto. 1-0. Niolaao Cos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Emilio Alba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benigno Marto. The goal made the score 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Alba to strike the kick off in the second half. Medero Payon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalla Lezcano in the 53rd minute of the match. Abilio Cañete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medero Payon having to interfere. Emilio Alba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Benigno Marto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zumar Alari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Marto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Alba in the 63rd minute of play forced Curichicual's goalkeeper Benigno Marto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Soterraña tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Benigno Marto. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-1 in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zumar Alari in the 73rd minute of play forced Curichicual's goalkeeper Benigno Marto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Curichicual got a freekick which was hit by Niolaao Cos. In the 77th minute, Cresconio Pedroza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curichicual's Benigno Marto didn't even have to move. The nice shot from Abilio Cañete in the 81stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Medero Payon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Lalla Lezcano took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Medero Payon. Medero Payon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Alba in the 88th minute of play forced Curichicual's goalkeeper Benigno Marto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medero Payon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalla Lezcano in the 91st minute of the match. Abilio Cañete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zumar Alari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Curichicual players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peracal.
