The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Nisperal got a freekick which was hit by Ortzi Moiselo. Ysmael Neira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Leonides Orgera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fermin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noe Yepes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Nisperal's goalkeeper Leonides Orgera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Fitado. 11 minutes into the match, Nisperal's goal looked a bit too open when Ysmael Neira came free, but Leonides Orgera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ysmael Neira struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Leonides Orgera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuata FC. A collision led to Cuata FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Braulio Solarriba hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermengol Macorra in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Mier saved Cuata FC from getting behind. After having played for 25 minutes, Noe Yepes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nisperal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noe Yepes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ermengol Macorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ysmael Neira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ermengol Macorra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nisperal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermengol Macorra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Mier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonides Orgera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysmael Neira in the 42nd minute of the match. Ortzi Moiselo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Leonides Orgera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysmael Neira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysmael Neira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Orgera having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermengol Macorra to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Fermin Mier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nisperal's Noe Yepes got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vidal Cantiello hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match, Noe Yepes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fermin Mier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fermin Mier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noe Yepes in the 59th minute. The supporters of Cuata FC booed when Nisperal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lehoi Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, James Paderniga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nisperal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuata FC the free kick. In the 65th minute, James Paderniga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidal Cantiello didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 67 minutes, Peter Ajorbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nisperal and the Cuata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nisperal's Peter Ajorbe got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Nisperal's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Cantiello came free, but Leonides Orgera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Cuata FC's Nemesio Fitado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Orgera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Pedro Fornell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nisperal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuata FC the free kick. The Cuata FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cuata FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nisperal for a fine match.
