Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Zalona took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Otopun FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Higinio Astonzas hit a great ball. Lope Arrieta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Cuata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Cavadas to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Mier made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Venceslas Madariaga sent off a good shot on target. Otopun FC's Bras Renteria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysmael Neira in the 19th minute of play. Venceslas Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mier having to interfere. Fermin Mier had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Carlos Zalona from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Cuata FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vidal Cantiello hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Ysmael Neira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Zalona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Mier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Cuata FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Venceslas Madariaga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fermin Mier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Zalona's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Ysmael Neira might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bras Renteria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ysmael Neira ran back to his position shaking his head. Bras Renteria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ysmael Neira in the 39th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Venceslas Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Nemesio Fitado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Nemesio Fitado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Otopun FC's zone, Ysmael Neira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bras Renteria came out of the goal and Ysmael Neira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Carlos Zalona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Venceslas Madariaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Mier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Venceslas Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mier having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Cuata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lope Arrieta to maneuver through the defense. Ysmael Neira struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Bras Renteria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuata FC. The supporters of Cuata FC booed when Otopun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitano Gavarnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Otopun FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
