Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chale Macua started the match with the kick off. Isaio Bayo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaio Bayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Guasima got a freekick which was hit by Isaio Bayo. Chale Macua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonsalve Tofino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guasima's Gonzales Camudio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perico Zaloña in the 17th minute of play. Chale Macua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chimarez FC booed when Guasima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonsalve Tofino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Chimarez FC's Xamo Lavijo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Guasima's Manuel Gener shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Evis Iruleta but with some difficulty. Gonsalve Tofino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Chale Macua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chale Macua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gonzales Camudio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guasima's Gonzales Camudio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perico Zaloña in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonsalve Tofino to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Chimarez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Alderete came free, but Evis Iruleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Gonsalve Tofino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evis Iruleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Chale Macua sped through Guasima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonzales Camudio. After 62 minutes, Galoer Chamorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimarez FC and the Guasima players grew even worse after the yellow card. Galoer Chamorro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ramiro Alderete sped through Chimarez FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evis Iruleta. Perico Zaloña struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gonzales Camudio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimarez FC. After a rather tough play, Chimarez FC's Chale Macua got a free kick in the 76th minute. Guasima's Ramiro Alderete got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Gener charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Gener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Gener kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chale Macua in the 89th minute of play forced Guasima's goalkeeper Gonzales Camudio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evis Iruleta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonsalve Tofino in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chimarez FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Gener was slow to take the kick. During this time Guasima's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Manuel Gener almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chimarez FC's Evis Iruleta did a great save.
