Silvio Malla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Pacios, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Frantzes Canado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Guajira FC's Maximo Domaquia. Maximo Domaquia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frantzes Canado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Maximo Domaquia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Guajira FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurin Bolonga. In the 43rd minute, Zavior Vilardell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Guajira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Balchises FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Pedro Pacios made the kick off in the second half. Frantzes Canado struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Balchises FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Salvino Seda hit a great ball. Balchises FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
