In the 7th minute, Pirmin Balanzuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Andoni Mera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ederono Cadenas. Andoni Mera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jon Izcaray shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 21st match minute, Naranjal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavian Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Ederono Cadenas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Mera in the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavian Ponce to strike the kick off in the second half. Sabino Pajazo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Frisco Santavida made a huge save. Frisco Santavida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavian Ponce in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Naranjal's Txema Labandera got a free kick in the 61st minute. Xavian Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frisco Santavida having to interfere. Andoni Mera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Espana booed when Naranjal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirmin Balanzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andoni Mera succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 73 played minutes Espana got a freekick which was hit by Gorosti Ahedo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andoni Mera in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ederono Cadenas saved Naranjal from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Andoni Mera notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Naranjal's Ederono Cadenas. Ederono Cadenas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Naranjal's Ederono Cadenas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andoni Mera in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Raebert Guia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naranjal's Ederono Cadenas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naranjal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
