In the 3rd minute Eduardo Barambio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Katia Mill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Cuencas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Arrazola came free, but Muno Ferrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Eduardo Barambio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuencas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Majaguillo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cuencas FC's Eduardo Barambio got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Chuan Alsina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muno Ferrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blanco Arrazola, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuan Alsina in the 24th minute of play forced Cuencas FC's goalkeeper Muno Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Eduardo Barambio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Katia Mill, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cuencas FC's Lorencio Regules got a free kick in the 31st minute. Katia Mill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Barambio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Chuan Alsina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirande Machon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Donio Jimenez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Katia Mill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Giro Codony managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuencas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giro Codony was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Katia Mill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Majaguillo got a freekick which was hit by Gar Oliver. When Lizar Viso fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Majaguillo's protests and gave Lizar Viso a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Majaguillo got a freekick which was hit by Lizar Viso. 47 minutes into the match, Cuencas FC's Xabel Avila broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chuan Alsina to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Barambio in the 55th minute of play forced Majaguillo's goalkeeper Katia Mill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Barambio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cuencas FC's Eduardo Barambio got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lizar Viso came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Majaguillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lizar Viso couldn't finish the play. Blanco Arrazola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Muno Ferrer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 66 minutes, Lorencio Regules mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuencas FC and the Majaguillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, Giro Codony was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuencas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Majaguillo the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Giro Codony hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muno Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuan Alsina in the 74th minute of play. Donio Jimenez spun around in front of the goal 78 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Majaguillo's goal. If Donio Jimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Donio Jimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuencas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donio Jimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Katia Mill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cuencas FC's zone, Lizar Viso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muno Ferrer came out of the goal and Lizar Viso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blanco Arrazola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Muno Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donio Jimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Chuan Alsina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Muno Ferrer. Chuan Alsina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
