Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Churuguara FC's Patrido Urquiaga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Churuguara FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Churuguara FC's Patrido Urquiaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Casimiro Mayoral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Arango in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castillos's goalkeeper Aquiles Romillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Castillos's Ferrando Eraso got a free kick in the 9th minute. Aquiles Romillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrido Urquiaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferrando Eraso during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferrando Eraso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Churuguara FC's Lino Cerro got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gaspard Molinuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Arango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Casimiro Mayoral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Churuguara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Peñaranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Gaspard Molinuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Romillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cordarrol Ocampo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castillos's protests and gave Cordarrol Ocampo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Castillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarrol Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Marco Arango struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Casimiro Mayoral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castillos. Aquiles Romillo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Churuguara FC's Patrido Urquiaga. But to his dismay, Patrido Urquiaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 38 played minutes Churuguara FC got a freekick which was hit by Umbruso Amescua. Ferrando Eraso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casimiro Mayoral firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Churuguara FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Librado Titos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xantalen Sobera in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Mayoral saved Churuguara FC from getting behind.

If Marco Arango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Marco Arango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Mayoral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrido Urquiaga in the 64th minute of play forced Castillos's goalkeeper Aquiles Romillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Castillos's Aquiles Romillo got control of the ball when Gaspard Molinuevo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimiro Mayoral came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Castillos's Xantalen Sobera. But to his dismay, Xantalen Sobera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With an all-out effort, Churuguara FC's Aquiles Romillo threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrido Urquiaga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Castillos's Mingo Cubillo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mingo Cubillo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Castillos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mingo Cubillo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
