Menendo Ibaizabal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Feyto in the 8th minute of play forced Caraquita FC's goalkeeper Leo Amileta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Jacinto Gayoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 12th minute, when Clavellina's Eufemio Riega after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Leo Amileta in Caraquita FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Argider Garoña might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Millrick Leira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argider Garoña ran back to his position shaking his head. Millrick Leira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argider Garoña in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Caraquita FC booed when Clavellina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tirso Villalva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Tirso Villalva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes Caraquita FC got a freekick which was hit by Benvide Rigues. 36 minutes into the match, Caraquita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Feyto came free, but Leo Amileta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clavellina's zone, Argider Garoña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Millrick Leira came out of the goal and Argider Garoña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Laurendi Salais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Millrick Leira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Argider Garoña made the kick off in the second half. Juan Belber kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Clavellina's Zacarias Feyto in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Millrick Leira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argider Garoña in the 76th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Caraquita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xicu Sotillo came free, but Leo Amileta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Amileta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Feyto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Zacarias Feyto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Amileta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xicu Sotillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Laurendi Salais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurendi Salais got free with Millrick Leira in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
