Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nemesio Doria kicked off to start the match. Maraman Posada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciceron Verdugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Rai Casavela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maraman Posada having to interfere. Maraman Posada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciceron Verdugo in the 9th minute of the match. Toro Arnao charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toro Arnao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Universidad del Zulia booed when Guaimu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toro Arnao didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Universidad del Zulia's Lekubegi Busvidad got control of the ball when Toro Arnao tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Doria in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lekubegi Busvidad saved Universidad del Zulia from getting behind. Toro Arnao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Guaimu's Nemesio Doria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lekubegi Busvidad. Lekubegi Busvidad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Rai Casavela came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Universidad del Zulia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rai Casavela couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciceron Verdugo in the 37th minute of play forced Guaimu's goalkeeper Maraman Posada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maraman Posada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rai Casavela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lekubegi Busvidad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Doria in the 42nd minute of the match. Nemesio Doria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lekubegi Busvidad having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Toro Arnao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Universidad del Zulia's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Doria came free, but Lekubegi Busvidad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciceron Verdugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Maraman Posada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Universidad del Zulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Botella to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Arnao in the 60th minute of play forced Universidad del Zulia's goalkeeper Lekubegi Busvidad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciceron Verdugo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Maraman Posada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad del Zulia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Doria in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lekubegi Busvidad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Ciceron Verdugo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maraman Posada. Guaimu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciceron Verdugo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Toro Arnao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lekubegi Busvidad was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ferdinand Carranceja took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maraman Posada. Guaimu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciceron Verdugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maraman Posada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Nemesio Doria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lekubegi Busvidad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Universidad del Zulia were furious when Ferdinand Carranceja was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 89 minutes into the game, one of Universidad del Zulia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Guaimu a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Xzavaier Varaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Universidad del Zulia's Lekubegi Busvidad. 4-1. Toro Arnao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciceron Verdugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maraman Posada having to interfere. Universidad del Zulia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
