Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Siro Tocornal took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomesano Araso in the 7th minute of play forced Memo FC's goalkeeper Joseph Rollan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gamus Penagos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Memo FC's Joseph Rollan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomesano Araso in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Memo FC's zone, Ospetsu Yaner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Rollan came out of the goal and Ospetsu Yaner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Alberto Iruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Gomesano Araso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Rollan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Ospetsu Yaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joseph Rollan. Memo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ospetsu Yaner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joseph Rollan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ospetsu Yaner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ospetsu Yaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gomesano Araso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Varacara FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Memo FC:s goal. Cris Najera shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 35 minutes in the game, Siro Tocornal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maule Ibaizabal having to interfere. In the 37th minute Gomesano Araso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Rollan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gamus Penagos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maule Ibaizabal having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Xefe Hera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varacara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Memo FC the free kick. In the 58th minute, Xefe Hera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Memo FC's zone, Ospetsu Yaner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Rollan came out of the goal and Ospetsu Yaner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Varacara FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jesus Fontecha hit a great ball. The referee gave Memo FC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cris Najera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Varacara FC's Maule Ibaizabal. 2-1. Maule Ibaizabal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siro Tocornal went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Alberto Iruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gamus Penagos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maule Ibaizabal having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Varacara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Arciniega to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gamus Penagos in the 90th minute of play forced Varacara FC's goalkeeper Maule Ibaizabal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Varacara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camerino Elizondo to maneuver through the defense. Ospetsu Yaner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Rollan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Varacara FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
