With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriana Pozuelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru Turrilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Havier Arenillas made a kick off. Marcelito Cajigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atauri Carda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Urtsua Torneira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Havier Arenillas in the 61st minute of play forced Lapa's goalkeeper Marcelito Cajigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelito Cajigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atauri Carda in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valera FC's Sabino Puget got a free kick in the 79th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valera FC reached it. The Lapa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
