Aznaro Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pes Mulas in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Guamache defense, Cayetano Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xaiver Somellera. The Guamache fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xaiver Somellera should have stopped the shot. After 28 minutes, Haritzeder Agulla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the maracaibo and the Guamache players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, maracaibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haritzeder Agulla to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Selmo Rusoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aznaro Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Guamache got a freekick which was hit by Cresitobalo Amarelle. Xaiver Somellera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Cayetano Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xaiver Somellera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Guamache's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Rios came free, but Xaiver Somellera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, maracaibo's goal looked a bit too open when Selmo Rusoto came free, but Aznaro Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, maracaibo's goal looked a bit too open when Selmo Rusoto came free, but Aznaro Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Selmo Rusoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guamache fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Pieter-Jan Iansens hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Aaron Dehesa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hayri Teren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xaiver Somellera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Hayri Teren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 77th minute. When Cayetano Rios came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the maracaibo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Rios couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Hayri Teren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Xaiver Somellera made a huge save. When the match was over maracaibo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guamache throughout the match.
