An unexpectedly hard shot by Weterio Herrara in the 5th minute of play forced Tomoporo's goalkeeper Umea Tacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Tomoporo's goal looked a bit too open when Bahiano Bucaran came free, but Umea Tacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Corisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinto Cerezo in the 36th minute of the match. When Pinto Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tomoporo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pinto Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Caitano Señor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Paolo Corisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pinto Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chiyuche's Luke Ontavilla got a free kick in the 46th minute. Caitano Señor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Paolo Corisco made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bahiano Bucaran was the one to do the kick off. Umea Tacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahiano Bucaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Bahiano Bucaran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Umea Tacon. Bahiano Bucaran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Pinto Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Rico Artes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tomoporo and the Chiyuche players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Rico Artes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bahiano Bucaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
