Plantacion FC's Evaristo Cabriada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cresitobalo Afonte in the 4th minute of play. Evaristo Cabriada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamberto Senderos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Cabriada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cresitobalo Afonte in the 9th minute of the match. Alvaro Quejura's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hug Valbas firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Real Leon's Cresitobalo Afonte in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Plantacion FC's Hug Valbas threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xepe Morell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the game, Alvaro Quejura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hug Valbas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Real Leon's Hug Valbas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Real Leon from getting a goal against them. If Alvaro Quejura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Real Leon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raulo Ruete to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Xepe Morell made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Plantacion FC's Xepe Morell got a free kick in the 51st minute. Hug Valbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xepe Morell, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Real Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Quejura came free, but Hug Valbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Plantacion FC's goalkeeper Evaristo Cabriada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cresitobalo Afonte. Real Leon's Hug Valbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xepe Morell in the 63rd minute of play. Cresitobalo Afonte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Evaristo Cabriada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cresitobalo Afonte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Cabriada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cresitobalo Afonte got free with Evaristo Cabriada in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes, Viviano Romano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Leon and the Plantacion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viviano Romano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Cresitobalo Afonte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute Alvaro Quejura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hug Valbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uxio Andonaegui hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Osmundo Barrena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hug Valbas skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Plantacion FC's zone, Cresitobalo Afonte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Cabriada came out of the goal and Cresitobalo Afonte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Seiro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Real Leon's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Plantacion FC had won, even though Real Leon had held more of the ball.
