After 9 played minutes Guayamural FC got a freekick which was hit by Liher Martioda. When Lacero FC's Dino Gabirondo in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guayamural FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dino Gabirondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Sagredo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Martin Cachurro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayamural FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Cachurro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oriche Tagle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oriche Tagle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paio Terrazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alvaro Valle's late challenge caught a Guayamural FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Valle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guayamural FC booed when Lacero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes Lacero FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mede Bañuelos who took care of the corner kick. Guayamural FC's Mede Bañuelos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oriche Tagle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Martin Cachurro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lacero FC's Oriche Tagle. Oriche Tagle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dino Gabirondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Cachurro in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oriche Tagle saved Lacero FC from getting behind. Claudio Zamora lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 59 played minutes Lacero FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Zamora. Enzo Llanez missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 61 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Oriche Tagle right hand side. Martin Cachurro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriche Tagle having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Guayamural FC's Paio Terrazos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oriche Tagle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Lacero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paio Terrazos came free, but Oriche Tagle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Dino Gabirondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lacero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Gabirondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buinton Lebron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Sagredo having to interfere. Paio Terrazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guayamural FC's Marcelino Sagredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Guayamural FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Lacero FC defense, Martin Cachurro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oriche Tagle. The Lacero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oriche Tagle should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guayamural FC had won after a very even match.
