After a defensive mix-up in Mereyal FC's zone, Gaufred Troche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Austin Valonga came out of the goal and Gaufred Troche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gaufred Troche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Mereyal FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Roncesvalles. Austin Valonga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meendez Fariñada in the 24th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Meendez Fariñada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Austin Valonga. Mereyal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meendez Fariñada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 31 minutes of play, Naranjillal FC's Meendez Fariñada made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Austin Valonga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Cerilo Rollan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Truylos Roman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes, Gonsalve Canaria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naranjillal FC and the Mereyal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Naranjillal FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gonsalve Canaria hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Eder Airoldi put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Berasko Guau. Gaufred Troche might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Austin Valonga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaufred Troche ran back to his position shaking his head.

After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eder Airoldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mereyal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eder Airoldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berasko Guau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Austin Valonga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meendez Fariñada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Naranjillal FC's Meendez Fariñada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Domayca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Eder Airoldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berasko Guau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
