Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Izcarigua 's Joao Vidania started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joao Vidania fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondino Sepulveda having to interfere. Izcarigua 's Andre Mier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erauso Ayo in the 12th minute of play. Conrado Carvajal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Conrado Carvajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Errapel Bobes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izcarigua 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiroz FC the free kick. Errapel Bobes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Erauso Ayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Izcarigua 's Joanes Echevarria got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Erauso Ayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andre Mier was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Izcarigua 's Joao Vidania got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Carvajal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ondino Sepulveda made a huge save. The supporters of Izcarigua booed when Quiroz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Sagaseta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erauso Ayo was the one to do the kick off. Joao Vidania's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ondino Sepulveda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Andre Mier was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Patxi Viguri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patxi Viguri really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. With a little luck, Izcarigua 's Andre Mier got control of the ball when Cordera Guate tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evangelista Heredia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Mier had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Erauso Ayo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 76 minutes into the match, Evangelista Heredia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andre Mier. Izcarigua 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evangelista Heredia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 79th match minute, Quiroz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordera Guate to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erauso Ayo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andre Mier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Evangelista Heredia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Casasola's late challenge caught a Quiroz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Casasola helped the player get up and apologised. Quiroz FC's Ondino Sepulveda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joao Vidania in the 92nd minute of play. If Evangelista Heredia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Izcarigua fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quiroz FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
