In the 29th minute Larra Cuñat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pietro Ceruelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chenchenal FC's protests and gave Alberto Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Caracakingo Barreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pietro Ceruelo skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th match minute, Veguitas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazuste Ortega to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Rigoberto Secilia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pietro Ceruelo, passed just outside the right post. In the 39th minute, Rigoberto Secilia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larra Cuñat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pietro Ceruelo having to interfere. Pietro Ceruelo was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Larra Cuñat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Larra Cuñat really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Veguitas FC's zone, Luzaide Andia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertol Idigoras came out of the goal and Luzaide Andia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Basajaun Cotan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Veguitas FC's goalkeeper Bertol Idigoras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luzaide Andia. With 55 minutes on the clock, Caracakingo Barreira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Veguitas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chenchenal FC:s goal. Veguitas FC's Bertol Idigoras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintan Negral in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Veguitas FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cebo Arenzano hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Chenchenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Fonseca. Rigoberto Secilia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pietro Ceruelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertol Idigoras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintan Negral, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Rigoberto Secilia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Veguitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bahiano Carreiras came free, but Bertol Idigoras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Veguitas FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play.
