After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Kauldi Toranzo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Montez Barreda charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Montez Barreda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Naranjito got a freekick which was hit by Montez Barreda. Gonsalve Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Stanislao Vecilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Naranjito's Stanislao Vecilla got control of the ball when Oscar Queduro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Oscar Queduro in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 31 minutes into the match, Sorosopan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitoria Palomeque came free, but Osmundo Malave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sorosopan FC's zone, Vitoria Palomeque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmundo Malave came out of the goal and Vitoria Palomeque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gonsalve Hernando made the kick off in the second half. Vitoria Palomeque struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Osmundo Malave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. After a rather tough play, Sorosopan FC's Eudoxio Icazate got a free kick in the 57th minute. Osmundo Malave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitoria Palomeque, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gonsalve Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Sorosopan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonsalve Hernando to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sorosopan FC's Osmundo Malave got control of the ball when Nevada Ozana tried to sneak it across the goal line.
