In the 34th minute Damaso Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manex Sombredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manex Sombredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Frederico Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urdaspal Argandoña having to interfere. Sibe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oriche Ceberiche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Maulpa getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eugenio Vada hit a great ball. Manex Sombredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Ortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Maulpa got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Vada. In the 70th minute, Caton Elizalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Valladaress short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Urdaspal Argandoña to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oriche Ceberiche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urdaspal Argandoña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Sibe got a freekick which was hit by Caton Elizalde. Frederico Valladares succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Eguntsenti Traveso's late challenge caught a Sibe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eguntsenti Traveso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sibe booed when Maulpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eguntsenti Traveso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maulpa played a much better game than Sibe and deserved their victory. The Sibe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
