Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Regis Coronado took the kick off in the first half of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Cantave's goalkeeper Teodor Zurica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emenon Padolles. 16 minutes into the game, one of Cantave:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ospetsu Sojo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Vidal Patiño was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 27 minutes into the match, Cantave's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Patiño came free, but Teodor Zurica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cantave's Teodor Zurica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Cantave from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Remolino getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vidal Patiño hit a great ball. Emenon Padolles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Teodor Zurica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gelmiro Espantoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantave's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelmiro Espantoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ourente Olier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Rubiños was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remolino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cantave the free kick. A collision led to Remolino getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rodolfo Rubiños hit a great ball. When Rodolfo Rubiños came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Remolino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Rubiños couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Cantave got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Güerga. In the 49th minute Remolino were awarded a corner. Ospetsu Sojo went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vidal Patiño made a kick off. Emenon Padolles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Cantave's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Patiño came free, but Teodor Zurica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidal Patiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Zurica having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Remolino's Vidal Patiño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodor Zurica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cantave's Teodor Zurica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emenon Padolles in the 67th minute of play. Vidal Patiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Teodor Zurica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Zurica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emenon Padolles, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ereinotz Beguellina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Zurica having to interfere. When Belmiro Güerga came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Cantave fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Güerga couldn't finish the play. Vidal Patiño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodor Zurica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Remolino's Vidal Patiño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodor Zurica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Remolino had played much better football throughout.
