The referee ignored Mucuchies's protests and gave Evangelista Fano a yellow card for diving instead. Andrew Ozores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macias Hondona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Navariega's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Ovidio Gerica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Elequemedo Bobis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Ovidio Gerica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Navariega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Mucuchies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elija Alborza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Gerica in the 26th minute of play forced Utupuma FC's goalkeeper Elequemedo Bobis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elequemedo Bobis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roldan Ribalta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Elija Alborza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mucuchies's Elija Alborza got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Utupuma FC got a corner. Mucuchies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pablo Roldan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andrew Ozores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macias Hondona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Ozores in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisandro Navariega made a kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mucuchies's goalkeeper Macias Hondona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th play minute Roldan Ribalta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elequemedo Bobis. 0-1. If Ovidio Gerica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ovidio Gerica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Utupuma FC's zone, Ovidio Gerica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elequemedo Bobis came out of the goal and Ovidio Gerica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mucuchies's Ovidio Gerica got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Macias Hondona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Ozores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Mucuchies's Roldan Ribalta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elequemedo Bobis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 90 minutes into the match, Utupuma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Gerica came free, but Elequemedo Bobis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mucuchies's zone, Andrew Ozores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Macias Hondona came out of the goal and Andrew Ozores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
