Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Elazar Marchamalo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Maijia FC's Lorenz Asarta pulled a muscle in his back after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 3 minutes into the game, Ovidio Gerica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mucuchies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maijia FC the free kick. If Fabian Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buinton Valer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buinton Valer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roldan Ribalta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Frasco Gegunde made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Maijia FC's zone, Roldan Ribalta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frasco Gegunde came out of the goal and Roldan Ribalta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frasco Gegunde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Gerica's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Roldan Ribalta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mucuchies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roldan Ribalta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Frasco Gegunde managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Mucuchies's Roldan Ribalta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frasco Gegunde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Gerica in the 24th minute of the match. Roldan Ribalta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frasco Gegunde came out and tried to block the shot, but Roldan Ribalta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Roldan Ribalta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Gegunde having to interfere. Fabian Roman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Macias Hondona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The audience was convinced that Roldan Ribalta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frasco Gegunde was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Ovidio Gerica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Gerica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mucuchies's Macias Hondona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Roman in the 67th minute of play. Roldan Ribalta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maijia FC's goalkeeper Frasco Gegunde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frasco Gegunde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Gerica in the 82nd minute of the match. Ovidio Gerica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Frasco Gegunde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ovidio Gerica sped through Maijia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frasco Gegunde. Maijia FC's Fabian Roman got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mucuchies's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
