Reyes Pino struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ordono Cegama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urbina FC. In the 20th minute, Sixto Corzana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Estevez Ororbia fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urbina FC's protests and gave Estevez Ororbia a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Urbina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dieciocho:s goal. Faustino Gopegui shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, Urbina FC's Gorka Rueda got a free kick in the 28th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Urbina FC's goalie and right to Timo Amurrio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Urbina FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Iratze Calva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbina FC's Mingo Xixons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eztebe Irastorza in the 38th minute of play. Lourenco Tobalina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ordono Cegama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenco Tobalina was the one to do the kick off. Eztebe Irastorza might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mingo Xixons. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eztebe Irastorza ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Eztebe Irastorza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dieciocho's supporters rose to their feet, but Eztebe Irastorza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mingo Xixons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Chamorro charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Chamorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lourenco Tobalina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ordono Cegama having to interfere. If Lourenco Tobalina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Urbina FC's Lourenco Tobalina made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ordono Cegama was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iratze Calva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
