Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Llorian Caño got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Star force's Clodoveo Barria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isusko Luzano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Isusko Luzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorian Caño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valiente Bonvehi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Star force's goalkeeper Xayveon Albaratay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Turallos. With a little luck, Star force's Xayveon Albaratay got control of the ball when Astor Torrea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Torrea struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Xayveon Albaratay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cauca. After having played for 27 minutes, Gilberto Turallos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cauca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Turallos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gilberto Turallos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cauca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Turallos couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Turallos in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xayveon Albaratay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Astor Torrea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cauca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Torrea couldn't finish the play. Astor Torrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xayveon Albaratay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Star force's Donato Balague got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Astor Torrea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xayveon Albaratay. Astor Torrea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Turallos made a kick off. Xayveon Albaratay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Torrea in the 58th minute of play. Dantel Giraldo's late challenge caught a Star force's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dantel Giraldo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cauca's Dantel Giraldo got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Torrea in the 62nd minute of play forced Star force's goalkeeper Xayveon Albaratay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Gilberto Turallos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xayveon Albaratay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Torrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Albaratay having to interfere. Xayveon Albaratay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Torrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Astor Torrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Xayveon Albaratay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Star force's zone, Gilberto Turallos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xayveon Albaratay came out of the goal and Gilberto Turallos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Llorian Caño got free with Isusko Luzano in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clodoveo Barria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isusko Luzano having to interfere. Xayveon Albaratay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Turallos's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Xayveon Albaratay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Torrea's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Turallos in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xayveon Albaratay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cauca booed when Star force was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llorian Caño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Turallos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xayveon Albaratay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Turallos, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Astor Torrea put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xayveon Albaratay. Star force's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
