Gumaro Amileta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Etxeberri Guemez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gumaro Amileta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Ozores having to interfere. When Artaldo Perramon fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curimagua FC's protests and gave Artaldo Perramon a yellow card for diving instead. Artaldo Perramon hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Eladio Bergues, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hanot Herrador showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etxeberri Guemez, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernaldo Arnaiz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reyes Ozores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernaldo Arnaiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Ozores having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Guisando FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Ayaso. Curimagua FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 39th minute of the game, when Emenon Terroba after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Guisando FC's goal. Emenon Terroba was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Eli Barros took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Reyes Ozores to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilio Escajadillo made a kick off. Artaldo Perramon hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Curimagua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eli Barros to maneuver through the defense. If Teofilio Escajadillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Etxeberri Guemez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guisando FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etxeberri Guemez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reyes Ozores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernaldo Arnaiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilio Escajadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Curimagua FC's zone, Saturnino Monelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hanot Herrador came out of the goal and Saturnino Monelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Eli Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curimagua FC's Hanot Herrador played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilio Escajadillo in the 80th minute of play. Teofilio Escajadillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hanot Herrador came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofilio Escajadillo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 82nd minute. 91 minutes into the game, Curimagua FC's Gumaro Amileta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reyes Ozores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Guisando FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
