Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mamoncito's Urtsua Perucho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Urtsua Perucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tab Hernani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Guaricuay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colas Zaera to maneuver through the defense. Xoan Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Merecilla having to interfere. Peter Merecilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xoan Flores in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urtsua Perucho in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tab Hernani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Merecilla made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Quinito Basozabal sent off a good shot on target. Xoan Flores's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Merecilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Paulo Zuñiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes in the game, Xoan Flores fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peter Merecilla having to interfere. Mamoncito's Rufio Viñe got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Pablo-Enrique Vara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Xoan Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urtsua Perucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tab Hernani having to interfere.
The supporters of Guaricuay booed when Mamoncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Ingla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes, Guaricuay's Millano Valluerca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Merecilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guaricuay reached it. In the 66th minute Xoan Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Merecilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xoan Flores in the 69th minute of play forced Mamoncito's goalkeeper Peter Merecilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Rufio Viñe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mamoncito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaricuay the free kick. Peter Merecilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xoan Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Mamoncito got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Sagredo. Quinito Basozabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mamoncito's Urtsua Perucho got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Mamoncito got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Sagredo. Colas Zaera kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Tiago Ingla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaricuay's Tab Hernani didn't even have to move. Peter Merecilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xoan Flores in the 86th minute of play. Paulo Zuñiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Refugio Armesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaricuay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamoncito the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guaricuay's Refugio Armesto got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Mamoncito's Urtsua Perucho, in the 93rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mamoncito. In the 95th match minute, Guaricuay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Macua to maneuver through the defense.
