After recieving a nice pass, Macanillita FC's Edson Runs tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gudesteo Fuica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermelando Otero in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eyague Mayen saved Macanillita FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Andrino in the 43rd minute of play forced Macanillita FC's goalkeeper Eyague Mayen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Andrino to make the kick off. Otoniel Nafarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gudesteo Fuica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otoniel Nafarrate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldovino Pernia went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Otoniel Nafarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldovino Pernia in the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldovino Pernia in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otoniel Nafarrate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gudesteo Fuica kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermelando Otero got free with Eyague Mayen in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermelando Otero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eyague Mayen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Hermelando Otero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pericoco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermelando Otero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Andrino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macanillita FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
