A collision led to DreamerOne FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Santxo Hostos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DreamerOne FC's zone, Herminio Gorria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Naranjo came out of the goal and Herminio Gorria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauro Arismendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, DreamerOne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Arismendi came free, but Gil Naranjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clavellino FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
