The supporters of Laureles FC booed when Amurug FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odol Cebadilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Amurug FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laureles FC:s goal. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Laureles FC. Domeka Costas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Espiridion Barrantes. 0-1. In the 10th minute Louis Nuño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espiridion Barrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manel Campesino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Nuño hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Nuño in the 17th minute of play forced Amurug FC's goalkeeper Espiridion Barrantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sesuldo Balaguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espiridion Barrantes having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Amurug FC's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Nuño came free, but Espiridion Barrantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caradaro Corton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Macerio Basozabal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Louis Nuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macerio Basozabal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manel Campesino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Louis Nuño scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Espiridion Barrantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Amurug FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laureles FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manel Campesino to make the kick off. Odol Cebadilla hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Domeka Costas, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Espiridion Barrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sesuldo Balaguer in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Louis Nuño fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Espiridion Barrantes, passed just outside the right post. Caradaro Corton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Macerio Basozabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amurug FC's Espiridion Barrantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Nuño in the 75th minute of play. Caradaro Corton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Laureles FC got a freekick which was hit by Francis Fortis. After 84 played minutes, Amurug FC's Beti Acenero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Macerio Basozabal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amurug FC reached it. Sesuldo Balaguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Espiridion Barrantes made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Amurug FC's Caradaro Corton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Macerio Basozabal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Laureles FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
