After having played for 3 minutes, Soter Queduro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pandeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soter Queduro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gutierre Ascorbe made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nesor Leniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matiyure's supporters rose to their feet, but Nesor Leniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lluciano Pisciña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noe Esperta in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lluciano Pisciña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Zeledon Mariategui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lluciano Pisciña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes, Zeledon Mariategui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pandeo and the Matiyure players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Pandeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Mariategui to maneuver through the defense. Lluciano Pisciña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noe Esperta in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Matiyure's Noe Esperta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lluciano Pisciña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Nesor Leniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matiyure fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Matiyure's Nesor Leniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lluciano Pisciña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Poncio Servin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Lluciano Pisciña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noe Esperta in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Nesor Leniz made a precise shot to the right of Lluciano Pisciña. Pandeo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pandeo's zone, Noe Esperta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lluciano Pisciña came out of the goal and Noe Esperta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lluciano Pisciña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noe Esperta, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Nesor Leniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Xamo Luey hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Noe Esperta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matiyure's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noe Esperta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th of the match, Alfredo Toralino tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lluciano Pisciña got in the way and made a wonderful save. Diego Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gutierre Ascorbe having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Noe Esperta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lluciano Pisciña. Noe Esperta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. If Soter Queduro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soter Queduro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gutierre Ascorbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pandeo booed when Matiyure was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Toralino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zeledon Mariategui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pandeo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matiyure were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
