After a rather tough play, Toloso's Ignacio Gañona got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Jordi Sordo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Silvio Garcia threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jordi Sordo this time. Ugaitz Tremiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Gaztañondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Gaztañondo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Pablo Corias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaraquito's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Corias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignacio Gañona hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Guaraquito's Ugaitz Tremiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Gaztañondo in the 86th minute of play.
