The Leonero FC fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Leonero FC's Berart Ledrado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Boni Baul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urtzi Eugenio's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Boni Baul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtzi Eugenio in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Berart Ledrado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xines Villaquilambre was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Olayo Mayre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Omero Fontanez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xines Villaquilambre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriana Echarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boni Baul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtzi Eugenio in the 43rd minute of the match. Leonero FC's Boni Baul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovando Castelo in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovando Castelo in the 47th minute of play forced Leonero FC's goalkeeper Boni Baul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Pavichima's Urtzi Eugenio in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leonero FC's goalie prevented a goal. Boni Baul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urtzi Eugenio's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Urtzi Eugenio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Baul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pavichima booed when Leonero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refugio Maluenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Leonero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tulio Cantu to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Constantino Garival mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pavichima and the Leonero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Betadur Ibarra, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Leonero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urtzi Eugenio came free, but Boni Baul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Olayo Mayre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xines Villaquilambre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lucio Castrillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xines Villaquilambre having to interfere. With a little luck, Leonero FC's Boni Baul got control of the ball when Urtzi Eugenio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leonero FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pavichima had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
