Cordaro Meleon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tauro Guasch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guib Alayz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Emilio Mazuelo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cordaro Meleon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sesteadero FC. Cordaro Meleon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauro Guasch, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Sesteadero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaizka Curro came free, but Guib Alayz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guib Alayz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txomin Mijangos in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sesteadero FC's zone, Lauaxeta Portero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guib Alayz came out of the goal and Lauaxeta Portero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sesteadero FC's Guib Alayz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauaxeta Portero in the 29th minute of play. Tauro Guasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cordaro Meleon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guib Alayz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauaxeta Portero in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Tauro Guasch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cordaro Meleon, 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Guayamure FC's Txomin Mijangos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guib Alayz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Sesteadero FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guayamure FC were winning 1-2.

In the 51st minute, Vasco Becerril hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cordaro Meleon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Sesteadero FC's Emilio Mazuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordaro Meleon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guayamure FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
